New York Early Onions

White-fleshed onion reaching 9 cm in diameter. The bulbs are very firm and excellent for winter storage. The skin develops a beautiful caramel color as it dries. Fast-growing, ideal for colder climates. Milder flavor than most other storage onions.

Start the seeds in February or March depending on your region.

Can be transplanted into the garden as soon as the snow has melted, tolerates light frosts.
