Certified organic by Québec Vrai.

An heirloom variety originating from Berlin, this beautiful early turnip has a delicate and delicious flesh. It grows quickly and is very hardy. These turnips remain tender even when they become large (and they can get enormous!). Delicious mashed, roasted, or in soups, which bring out their sweet aromas.

Sow throughout the season.

Turnips can be sown early in the season, as soon as the risk of frost has passed, or later in July or August to overwinter. They are quite cold-hardy and even tolerate milder temperatures.
