Dragon Carrot

A pretty carrot with reddish-purple skin and an orange core. The contrasting colors are eye-catching and add a splash of color to the raw vegetables!

Crisp carrot with a fragrant taste. Good shelf life (the photos were taken after a winter in a cold room).

The roots are vigorous and reach 15 cm in length.

Harvest: Harvest when the plants are 15-20 cm tall and the base forms a flared swelling.

Outdoor sowing: Sow directly in the ground once the risk of frost has passed and the soil has warmed up. Sow 5mm deep. Space seeds 2cm apart.

Germination: 14 days. Temperature above 15 ° C.

Watering: Carrots need frequent watering to germinate, keep the soil moist until the first leaves appear.

Exposure: Full sun.

Maturity: 80 days.
